Relax at the end of the world, one on one with the Pyrenees. Located in a natural environment, on the border between the Aude and the Ariège, in the heart of the Cathar country. This bucolic family hamlet, with its old Romanesque stone church and its theatre facing the Pyrenees, is surrounded by 90 hectares of forests and meadows which will be the playground of your children. The swimming pool area (secure) will allow parents to relax and enjoy the beautiful days with a view of the Pyrenees. You will have access to the whole estate and its 90 hectares of forest marked out for walks or mountain bike rides. Two buildings and a private pool area. The old Romanesque church: Formerly restored and currently maintained by a family and friendly association. (Possibility of meditating there). The open-air theatre: petanque ground and space for aperitifs in the open air. The forest: 20 km of marked hiking trails where you can discover the ruins of a medieval village overlooking the valley (map available). With a bit of luck, you will see hinds, deer and roe deer. The landscape vineyard, a secret garden maintained by the hamlet association. Stargazing: a light pollution free environment, astronomy fans will be delighted. In Chalabre, a 10 minute drive away, you will find shops, a supermarket, a pharmacy, a bank and restaurants. In Mirepoix, a 15 minute drive away, there is a wonderful market every Monday morning in the medieval square. Restaurants, supermarket and bank also available. The large lake of Montbel is 15 minutes away: boating, swimming, walking, fishing. Cathar castles within 30 minutes drive: Château de Puivert, Château de Lagarde, Château de Montségur, Château de Roquefixade. Limoux, famous for its carnival, blanquette and vineyards is also only 35 minutes away by car. The medieval city of Carcassonne is 50 minutes away. Other interesting sites: Gorges de Galamus, Cathar castles Quéribus, Peyrepertuse, Puylaurens, Gouffre Géant de Cabrespine, etc...

Group gîte with two independent buildings (Ibiscus and Albizia): Albizia: On the south-facing ground floor: A large fully-equipped kitchen, a large dining room that can seat more than 20 people, a TV lounge (with video games console and board games). (Disabled bathroom and adjoining WC). Large terrace adjoining the 3 rooms, with views of the Pyrenees (equipped with a large table and barbecue). First floor: 4 bedrooms sleeping 4 (1 double bed and 2 bunk beds per 18m2 bedroom) red bedroom: 1 electric 160/200 bed + 2 bunk beds blue bedroom: 1 double bed 140/190 + 2 bunk beds yellow bedroom (through to the green bedroom): 1 double bed 140/190 + 2 bunk beds green bedroom: 1 double bed 140/190 + 2 bunk beds. At the rear of the building: a large sanitary area: 1 bathroom, 2 individual showers, 3 WCs, 3 washbasins, washing machine and tumble dryer. HIbiscus: Ground floor: fitted kitchen and TV lounge with 2 pull-out beds, dining room. Green terrace with dining area and barbecue. Upstairs: 3 bedrooms with 140/190 double beds, 1 bathroom with separate WC.
