Charming half-timbered house with thatched roof in idyllic Broby. The village is located between Odense and Faaborg, on the romantic island of Funen. The beautiful old house has been renovated and rebuilt over the years, it is contemporary and well maintained. From the kitchen you come to the terrace and the dining area is open to the living room. In one bedroom there is a sofa bed, it is also the passage room to the bathroom. As a neighbor you have here one of the six churches of the town, the merchant, the small gallery, library, the small brewery Midtfyns Bryghus and the inn of the village are all within walking distance. At the Brobyværk Kro inn you can eat well and rent bicycles. Then visit Sdr. Broby Vandmølle, the protected water mill with a working mill. Svannige Bakker and Svannige Bjerge is a wonderful nature area with a forest playground, miles of hiking trails, flower meadows and 5 species of reptiles and more. Through Brobyværk flows Odense Å, the largest river in Funen. The passage in Brobyværk allows fishing access to the upper course of the river. Fishing is allowed at marked places for a length of 2 km.

    “De woning is een karakteristieke Deense boerenwoning, die omgetoverd is tot vakantiehuis. Alle voorzieningen zijn aanwezig en alles zag er goed uit. Ik ben niet uit op luxe, maar die tref je ook niet aan. Het verblijf is mij goed bevallen.
    Het adres was moeilijk te vinden.
    Aangegeven was de naam Broby, maar het aangegeven adres was daar nergens te vinden.
    Het heeft mij veel tijd en kilometers gekost voor ik er achter was dat de woning in Brobyvaerk staat!!! Vermeld die naam nou voortaan.
    Op de dag van de sleutelafgifte bleek dat de Sparwinkel niet in Faaborg staat, zoals aangegeven, maar ik Horne. Vermeld die naam voortaan, zou ik zeggen.”
