Stone house Sv. Katarina is located in a green oasis of central Istria in the small town of Sv. Catherine. You will enjoy the tranquility of country houses, nature, but also the company of friendly locals. It will enrich you with daily walks, bike rides along olive groves, fields and vineyards. Within ten minutes by car you will be able to get to know the historic towns of central Istria such as Pićan and Gračišće. Only half an hour's drive separates you from the clean beaches of Rabac. All major tourist and cultural centers of Istria will take you a maximum of 45 minutes drive. In Sv. Katarina we have a well-equipped shop, massage parlor, and from the locals you can buy local products and wines of our family Benazić.We have kept the characteristics of a traditional Istrian house as much as possible, which are also functional. Our house is the oldest in the hamlet of Benići and dates from the 18th century. You enter a spacious living room - dining room with a traditional Istrian fireplace. There is a massive table with chairs for 6 people, a comfortable sofa, TV and a part where you can enjoy a selection of our wines and local products. From the living room you enter the kitchen which is equipped with a refrigerator with freezer, mini oven, toaster, coffee maker, stove, and all necessary kitchen utensils. The house has 1 double bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom in the attic with 2 single beds and 1 double. The bathroom is fully equipped and has a shower. You also have a washing machine and WI FI available.Our house is in a row and the garden of approximately 500 m2 can be reached directly from the house - by stairs or side access. Behind the house is free parking for two cars. On the green surface of the stone is a gazebo with sitting furniture and a stone barbecue with a stone sink. A table tennis table can be used on the green area, and we also have a small children’s park with a swing and slide.All our guests have a free tasting of our wines in our cellar and tasting room in Pula. Sv. Katarina is an ideal place for those who want to get to know modern life, in a small, traditional Istrian town. In the nearby fields and vineyards you will see how the land is cultivated, grapes and olives harvested. You will be enchanted by the peace that will be enriched every now and then by the barking of dogs, the chirping of birds. On the green surface you will be able to read your favorite book in peace and shelter of greenery. The nearest restaurant is 3 km away. Your children can move safely through the village. You will be alone in our facility, but we are at your disposal for everything you need. We speak English, Italian and German.
