Fabulous holiday house in a prime location with a panoramic view

The property enjoys a top location with a direct view of the ski resort and the summer luge just 100 metres away. The house itself is part of a holiday complex with a total of 9 houses on a 12,000m² site. The special feature compared to the other properties is that it is situated the highest, with an unobstructed view. The whole property was completely renovated in 2015 and is therefore in an excellent and modern condition.

The living room opens onto the terrace affording a beautiful panoramic view. The outdoor area consists of a generous garden that cannot be looked into, a roofed terrace with an unbeatable panoramic view and it is possible to park two cars right in front of the house, when weather permits, with space to turn around. Otherwise there is a large communal car park.

The generous living room with an integrated dining space offers unforgettable moments during your stay. It is rounded off by a rotatable fireplace stove, exuding a cosy atmosphere. Both bedrooms and the living room have flatscreen TVs. The kitchen of a new standard is equipped with a fridge, microwave, oven and ceramic hob. The sofa can be converted easily into a lounger for cosy evenings or rainy afternoons.

Since recently, there is also a mountain bike downhill trail of varying difficulty levels. On weekends and holidays the slope is floodlit, so you can ride even after dark. All everyday amenities are within a few minutes’ walk. It is just a five-minute walk to the centre. The Mathias-Schmidt-berg opposite with its four downhill pistes and three lifts offers excellent winter sports facilities and from the spring it boasts one of the longest summer luges in the region.

The house is non-smoking, out of consideration for all guests. It is possible to smoke on the roofed terrace. We have another large holiday house on two floors about 5km away, which can accommodate up to 16 people and has an identical view. It is also possible to book just one floor for fewer people. In 2017 we also opened a Fouch wooden cabin in the neighbouring Bad Lauterberg, classified as five-star by the DTV (German Tourism Association).

    “Das Objekt entsprach der entsprechenden Beschreibung.

    Pro:
    Die Lage ist wie beschrieben sehr schön. (Leider hat der Schnee gefehlt.).

    “Ein wunderschönes Häuschen mit viel Liebe eingerichtet.

    Pro:
    Eine tolle Terrasse, die wir wirklich gerne und viel genießen konnten. Direkt der Blick auf die Sommerrodelbahn und auch ein Sommergewitter, welches man als Naturgewalt beobachten konnte, machte diesen Urlaub zu etwas ganz besonderem. Wir empfehlen es uneingeschränkt weiter.
    Da das Haus hoher liegt und evtl. nicht so gut zu Fuß ist, für den kann es beschwerlich sein, den Weg locker zu meistern.”

    “Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, wurden vom Vermieter sehr nett und freundlich empfangen und behandelt. Es war sehr sauber dort und es fehlte uns an nichts. Positiv: Uns hat besonders gut die Lage des Hauses gefallen. Man konnte den ganzen Tag beobachten, wie Familien unter großer Freude die Sommerrodelbahn und die Mointainbikestrecken hinunter fahren. Und es war sehr ruhig trotz der Nähe der Attraktionen. Negativ: Das Angebot an Spielgeräten auf Spielplätzen in St. Andreasberg ist für kleine Kinder sehr mager. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, das es zumindest in so einem Ferienort einen etwas größeren Spielplatz für kleine Kinder gibt.”
