The Ringkøbing Fjord is like a holy place for wind surfers. Fishing excursions in the deep waters, for a period of 3 to 20 hours are arranged from Hvide Sande. During summer, when the sea is calm, young guests can enjoy fishing mackerel on a boat or visit the museum 'Fiskeriets Hus' in a proper boat-wheelhouse. They can also experience the life on the boat from under the deck. There are quite a few golf courses in Søndervig. The North Sea is 700 metres away.
