Beautiful modern Villa Kalpesi is located in the centre of Dalmatia, in Kastel Stafilic. Thanks to its position by the sea, which is within easy reach, this villa is a true oasis of peace for all lovers of holiday in the untouched nature that surrounds this villa. Accommodation capacity for a maximum of eight people, the villa is equipped with four air-conditioned rooms with double beds and a unique sea view. All rooms have a private bathroom and are located on the upper floor of the villa. On the terrace on the upper floor there is a beautiful jacuzzi for six people. A washing machine and iron & board are also available.
The ground floor of the villa consist of a kitchen and dining room, and a living room. On the ground floor there is also a spa room with an additional bathroom and a jacuzzi for 2 people. In the modern kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare the most delicious dishes and enjoy them together with your family and friends. The spacious and bright living room is equipped with a sofa, armchairs, coffee table and decorative fireplace, and offers additional amenities such as HI-FI, digital television, Wi-Fi and the like.
The living room opens onto a large terrace and a yard with a beautiful pool of 60 m2. Around the pool you have at your disposal eight deck chairs, and for a relaxed summer afternoon in the company of loved ones there is an outdoor barbecue. Inside the yard there are six parking spaces. The villa is completely fenced.
Activities in the fresh air, romantic walks in the twilight along the beautiful beach are just some of the charms of the picturesque town of Kaštela, which attracts with its simplicity and proximity to the coast. Various activities such as water sports, rafting, cycling, horse riding or golf are available. The youngest ones will surely be delighted by the Aquapark, which is located in a slightly more distant Šibenik.
The proximity of city centres such as Trogir or Split offers many benefits for cultural activities and sightseeing of cultural and historical monuments dating back to Roman times. In nearby Trogir you will be able to see one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Croatia, the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. The construction of this cathedral from 1598 lasted almost 300 years, and it is characterized by Radovan's portal from 1340 and the bell tower 47 m high.
Kaštela is the name for seven interconnected places that stretch along the coast between the towns of Trogir and Solin. Very interesting historical monuments in Kaštela are numerous fortifications built along the coast in the 15th and 16th centuries during Turkish invasion, for example Kaštilac in Kaštel Gomilica, Nehaj tower in Kaštel Stafilić, Vitturi castle in Kaštel Lukšić, Kamerlengo tower in Kaštel Kambelovac, etc. in Kaštel In Stafilić you will find a beautiful botanical garden and a promenade called the Biblical Garden. Kaštela is also known for its wine cellars and local wines of the highest quality: Zinfandel wine as well as for growing olives and producing top quality olive oil.
Kaštela is also known for the tragic love story about Miljenko and Dobrila, i.e. Romeo and Juliet from Kaštela. Dobrila belonged to the noble Vitturi family, which owned numerous forts in Kaštela, and Miljenko belonged to the quarrelling Rušinić family. After the family banned their wedding, the lovers secretly met, and the tragic end of the love was sealed by the bloody murder of Miljenko committed by Dobrila's father, after which Dobrila lost her mind. Together they were buried in the church of St. Ivan in Rušinec, and above their grave there is an inscription in stone "Peace to the lovers".
Another town near Kaštela, the city of Split is known for its numerous cultural and historical monuments. In Split, in addition to many monuments from the Roman period, you will also find various other entertainment facilities such as summer festivals or disco clubs. Split is best known for its monumental building from the 4th century, Diocletian's Palace, one of the best-preserved historical monuments from this period, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
