Vamos a la playa can be heard three times here, as Villa Mandia is in the perfect location for a truly wonderful beach holiday: three bays are located in the immediate vicinity of the small resort. This Mediterranean house, which is accessed via a quiet street through a pool garden protected by hedges and trees, blends in perfectly with the Cala Mendia residential area and creates its own little holiday paradise at the same time. You are connected to the neighbourhood without sacrificing privacy. Leave your hire car(s) outside the gate, climb the steps under the bougainvilleas and enjoy the idyllic shady swing on the veranda, which together with the adjoining living area forms a perfect, open-plan unit. At the back, which is even more sheltered, is the modern gas barbecue, now with its own covered terrace. It also gives you plenty of space to gaze out at nature in comfort, while others at the front switch between sun loungers and pool or take a stroll to the beach.

Modern, playful and a smile on the face: Villa Mandia demonstrates a penchant for the artistic and bright colours that lift the mood. The cosy fireplace in the corner and a large flat-screen TV as well as an elegant dining table go hand in hand with the spacious fitted kitchen; the concept behind it is an open space, which at the same time retreats into an alcove. While one person places items from the fridge and oven on the breakfast bar, the others can conveniently take them to where they are needed. Even if the double doors to the veranda are wide open, you could be forgiven for thinking you were in the garden. From the living room, a few steps lead up to the villa's three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which are all right next to each other and therefore perfect for families. Two double beds (1.50 x 2 m and 1.35 x 1.90 m) and two single beds are available for up to six people and are perfect for a family of four. Two becomes three! For your comfort, the double washbasins and the toilet/bathtub can be used separately thanks to an integrated door between them. Every single second is precious - it's the time you could spend in the large expanse of water ...

You really are stranded here, but only in the sense that you are surrounded by beaches. Within a radius of 1 to 2 kilometres you'll find the recommended Calas Estany (also known as Romántica) and Anguila as well as Cala Mendia, all of which have large sandy areas digging deep into the land. If you prefer to take it easy, simply drive 5 km further down the road to Porto Cristo and combine a day at the beach with a stroll through the old town, eating out and enjoying the harbour: the somewhat hidden Golondrinas fish bar is excellent at lunchtime, while the fine German Sa Sal is perfect at sunset. There is a weekly market on the promenade on Sundays. On the way, you should definitely visit the famous dragon caves or the stalactite caves of the Coves dels Hams at least once. And thanks to the quick connection to the capital by car via the Ma-15 or by train via Manacor, you should definitely not leave Palma off your sightseeing list - remember to pack your swimsuit just in case.

Family-friendly villa for beach lovers! There are three bays with inviting turquoise-blue water in the immediate vicinity and the sandy beach of the same name, Cala Mendia, is just a few hundred metres away. In the small harbour town of Porto Cristo, 5 km away by car and on the way to the Coves del Drac, you will find all kinds of holiday facilities, from a supermarket and a weekly market to recommended (seafood) restaurants. Thanks to the shopping hotspot of Manacor, 15 km away, you can easily take a day trip to Palma.
