The perfect combination for a pleasant holiday: the pretty, urban house El Sol de Carmen in the holiday resort of Cala Mendia lively surroundings, but plenty of privacy. All the amenities of a small resort, such as a variety of shops and restaurants, are almost on your doorstep, but when you close the door, you are completely on your own and can enjoy your private Mallorca oasis in the middle of the city to the full. The gleaming white villa with large balconies on two floors and many windows not only offers a wonderful view of the Mediterranean Sea, which is only 400 metres away and therefore within walking distance, but also a pretty garden with a lush green lawn, a gnarled old olive tree and not forgetting the swimming pool, which provides a cool dip from time to time. Of course, what would the villa be without a sun terrace with comfortable loungers and parasols to provide shade? It's the perfect place to really get away from it all. Those who prefer to stay relaxed and active can challenge others to a game of table tennis, table football or darts, or work out on the private fitness equipment in the villa's cool basement, which also offers direct access to the villa's garden.

The interior of this well-kept holiday home is also very impressive. The arched windows that lead onto the balconies with their many inviting seating and dining areas are particularly beautiful. Everything is therefore wonderfully bright, enhanced by the white and pastel colours of the walls and ceilings. This is contrasted by elements in dark brown wood, such as the door frames and banisters. The living area welcomes you with a comfortable sofa and an equally comfortable armchair, so nothing stands in the way of an exciting film evening after an eventful day on Mallorca. A large sliding door with artistically designed glass panes leads directly from the living room into the dining area. The large table and high-quality wicker chairs are illuminated by the breathtaking chandelier, which creates an unforgettable atmosphere for your dinner. Conveniently, the open-plan kitchen is right next door, separated only by a breakfast bar, which features lots of wood in warm colours and traditional white and blue tiles. This makes it easy to serve the delicacies you have prepared. You also have direct access to the balconies from here. Sweet dreams are guaranteed in the villa's bedrooms: Everything is very bright and neat, with great attention to detail and yet pleasantly minimalist. The beds each offer a marvellous view of the glittering bay in the distance. Especially in the evening, you should definitely sit on the swing on the balcony and enjoy the view with a glass of red wine. The bathrooms round off the whole experience: they are equipped to a high standard and very well maintained.

Your villa is located in the small and quiet holiday resort of Cala Mendia, which was built in the 1990s around the bay of the same name and its incredible sandy beach. To get to the nearest supermarket, all you have to do is walk along the road and, 400 metres further on, you will be standing on the turquoise-coloured Mediterranean Sea. The bay's wide beach is surrounded by breathtaking cliffs. Here you will find beach bars and toilets; you can hire sun loungers and parasols, soak up the sun as much as you like or swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear water. If you like strolling through the shops or trying out a restaurant or two, the harbour town of Porto Cristo is only 5.6 km away. Cave explorers and adventurers of all ages will also get their money's worth in the vicinity of Porto Cristo: for example, an exciting tour to the fascinating Coves del Drac or Coves del Hams.

The pretty, urban Villa El Sol de Carmen is located in the centre of the coastal village of Cala Mendia, just 400 m from the beach of the same name in the east of the island. The house with its curved façade and large balcony offers a marvellous view of the Mediterranean Sea glistening in the sun. Even though you are in the centre of the resort, you can still enjoy nature: In addition to the lawn, there is an impressive olive tree in the garden, and ivy and other vines line the garden fence and the house.
