Casa Castagna
Die Casa Castagna - ein 200jähriger Stall, der umgebaut und im 2002 neu saniert wurde - liegt an einem Rebhang unterhalb des Dorfes Sessa im prächtigen Malcantone. Das Rustico ist von idyllischer Natur, Kastanienwald und eigenen Reben (Chamboursin) umgeben und hat auch ein eigenes Schwimmbassin (2 x 5 m). Zudem hat es verschiedene Plätzchen zum Lesen, Spielen und Ruhen. Die Casa Castagna ist nicht direkt vom Parkplatz erreichbar, sondern es führt ein Zickzackweg (ca. 60 Stufen) zum Rustico. Die Gegend bietet zahlreiche Wanderungen durch malerische Dörfer des Malcantone sowie Ausflugsmöglichkeiten (Lago Maggiore und Luganersee). Die Casa Castagna ist für Kinder unter 4 Jahren nur bedingt geeignet (Hanglage).
