This lovely little house was built in the early 19th century, and is the former "coach house " of the nearby magnificent villa (now the Museum Heleneum ). This little gem has just been fully renovated and luxuriously furnished with design furniture. It is situated in the exclusive district of Lugano - Castagnola, about 500m from the Villa Favorita (formerly housing the famous art collection of Thyssen- Bornemisza ). The house is situated at the foot of Monte Bre’ , "the sunniest mountain in Switzerland" , 50 meters from Lake Lugano, and with a splendid panoramic view over the lake and the majestic Mount San Salvatore.
