Description and location
Lopagno lies on the sunny side (south-east) of the Val Colla at 595 metres above sea level in the Val Capriasca and at the entrance to the Val Colla (valley), nine kilometres north of Lugano railway station. The entire valley with its chestnut forests is a nature reserve.
It is 9 kilometres from Lugano and 2 kilometres from Tesserete. From the north, take the Rivera/Tesserete motorway exit.
Lopagno is a quiet, sunny Ticino village with a mild, bracing climate. It is surrounded by chestnut woods. Hiking and biking trails are right on the doorstep. The post bus stop is also about 10 minutes' walk away.
Casa Campagna is situated below the village of Lopagno in the direction of Val Colla (valley), good access and no through traffic, it is a fenced detached house that can also be reached on foot, parking spaces are in front of the house. It has a large garden ideal for sunbathing and is child-friendly.
In the house there is a closed fireplace, electric heating (storage stove), kitchen combination with ceramic hob and oven, normal furnishings.
W-LAN in the house, satellite TV, radio, various games and books.
Documents on places of interest, train and post bus timetables, as well as hiking suggestions.

Surroundings and infrastructure
Postbuses to Tesserete every hour, to Lugano every half hour plus Lugano city bus. Taxi from Tesserete on request.
Tesserete is only 2 km away and offers many shopping facilities such as Migros, COOP, Denner, pharmacies, doctor's surgery, physiotherapy, 2 banks, 1 bakery, butcher's shop, kiosk, various restaurants and small shops.
The many hiking trails are ideal for long walks. 350 km of bike routes of varying degrees of difficulty, including the 2003 World Championship route, mountain bike hire and bike hire from Bike House Sagl and the Tesserete tourist office. In Origlio and Bogno you will find various riding schools in traditional or western style. In Tesserete, tennis courts and sports centre with 50m Olympic pool, outdoor forest pool with water slide. On the other side of the valley is the "Denti della Vecchia" climbing area for freestyle and traditional climbing.
