Nice holiday apartments with covered terraces are about a 10-minute walk from the beautiful, child-friendly sand and pebble beach Trstenica. They are located in the tourist resort of Orebi, a popular destination for family holidays, where you are sure to experience many wonderful moments. In addition to cultural monuments, we also recommend a visit to the Maritime Museum, which preserves the history of the local captains and sailors. The entire Peljesac peninsula is rich in vineyards and wine routes, and you should try wines such as Plavac Mali, Dinga and Postup. A ferry takes you in about 15 minutes to the island of Korula and the old town of the same name, where the famous Marco Polo was born. You can also visit the town of Ston, which is known for its long stone defence walls and salt marshes. Oysters and mussels are farmed off the coast of Mali Ston, which you should definitely try. As the peninsula is located halfway between the interesting cities of Split and Dubrovnik, you have the opportunity to go on interesting day trips there. One of the most beautiful and largest pebble beaches on the peninsula awaits you in Zuljani, where you can swim in the clear sea and relax on the beach under shady olive trees. Lovers of water sports will also get their money's worth here, as the village of Viganj offers ideal conditions for windsurfers. You can also visit the village of Kuna with its Franciscan monastery and the church of St Delorit, while the village of Trpanj is known for its healing mud.
