    “Da wir die Ruhe gesucht haben, war der Ort für uns perfekt.

    Sucht man allerdings Touristen-Trubel und Partymeile ist man hier falsch. Im nahe gelegenen Viareggio findet man aber sicher alles, was es im beschaulichen Massarosa vielleicht nicht gibt.

    Ein Supermarkt liegt ca. 15 Minuten Autofahrt entfernt, die Entfernung ist eigentlich nicht weit, aber durch die kleinen kurvigen Straßen braucht man seine Zeit bis man dort ist.

    Im Ortsteil direkt ist eine kleine Bar, bei der man süße Teilchen bekommen und einen Espresso trinken kann....hier scheint die Welt noch absolut in Ordnung zu sein.

    Schade ist, dass die Strände zum allergrößten Teil privat und relativ teuer sind. Wir haben zwar über das Internet einen freien Strandabschnitt gefunden, dieser war allerdings nur über einen recht langen Fußmarsch durch ein Wäldchen zu erreichen.”
